There was an issue earlier in the year in which certain 1099-Gs were being duplicated when they were entered into TurboTax. That issue was fixed, but the duplicate 1099-G was not removed because TurboTax could not be sure that that was actually a duplicate and not another 1099-G that the taxpayer had intended to enter.
In such a case, you would need to find the duplicate 1099-G and delete the duplicate yourself.
To find and delete the extra form, do a Search (upper right) for 1099-g, and click on the jump-to link (Mac users must find 1099-G in the Topics List).
This should show you a table of 1099-Gs that were entered. Edit them one by one to see what they are, and if you find the duplicate, just delete it using the Delete button or the trash can icon.
If that does not work for you, you can do the following:
*** Desktop***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the desired form. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete the extra form (if one)
