I got  my Tax Transcript. Is That a good thing ?

Doesn't mean anything Whitty92 I thought the same thing and ordered it as well but I still got letter and said I have to wait 60 days from date of letter which was Feb 28th. I called irs and asked why the told me over the phone that I was under review since Feb 15th and had to wait 45 days which would have been end of march not end of april so who knows it's all lies and Bulls hit the one thing I do know is I will not be using turbo tax ever again

I live in Texas and we don’t get state returns just federal and I’m having the same problem. My company uses intuit payroll for our checks and I’m still having to wait under review. I received child tax credit and earned income credit also student loan interest credit and a credit for hurricane harvey losses and like I said we only get one return mine is under review which I thought might be cause of all my tax circumstances but my xo worker filed with Jackson Hewitt and he for his return back weeks ago and filed later then I did. Maybe we could go to the media about the problem ???! Anyone have any thoughts on that and demand answers and free year of tax service from turbo tax because it seems to be solely there problem.

Call the irs again or the tax advocate for your state Whitty92 that's how I found out I was getting a letter. They can also help you get your taxes back faster I was told if you are having a financial hardship

I find out I'm under review to find out my review date won't start til Mar 19th. No letter sent and need no info. It's bs

Called the tax advocate and she told me they were reviewing my income to give it a few weeks and then call back. Had anyone else ben told exactly why there under review?

Turbo tax rep said they’ve changed software this year and because new tax laws

I called Tax Advocate and they gave me the same Spill the IRS is giving us. I'm just going to file a Hardship

so i FINALLY got an answer of whats going on! i got a tax advocate and they said the income i reported showed 3 w2’s and it didnt match what they have at the irs. they said one of my jobs didnt turn in a copy of my w2 like each job is supposed to! but i called  that job and they said that they turned it in and have a confirmation number of proof that they turned it in so I have no idea why irs would say they don’t have it unless they lost it or just didn’t process it yet my advocate said they will call me back tomorrow with more information but can still take seven weeks

That sounds about right...I had 3 W-2s, one from a part time job...someone from the advocate also told me that people were claiming credits, like school credits, that they didnt need to claim. It's too many reasons and it seems that people are pulling things out they ass just to get you off the phone.
I called today and the rep stated that my review was completed on Friday, so I should have my money by the 16th of March.
