TD Bank Routing Number Not Accepted by TurboTax

Have already confirmed with TD Bank the routing number on the check was valid--only 8 digits and they said to add a zero in front. However, TurboTax will not accept it and I cannot proceed.

don't think you got the correct answer because all routing numbers are supposed to be 9 digits. i've never seen a check with 8 - could you be using your a/c number.

 I just had the exact same problem with my credit union account. I entered both very carefully, several times, and got the same response for both:

" The [routing/account number] does not match. Please re-enter"

These are the same numbers I have used for several years.

maybe you have a blank in there at the beginning or end.

zero is a valid first digit for the routing number.

This is not rocket science, Turbotax can't be that broken, can it ??

This worked for one of my customers:

1.  I had the customer switch to Forms

2.  Then enter the routing number there

3.  Then switch back to Easy Step and continue with the return.

Also, she stated she added an extra 0 at the end of the routing number.  Not sure how.  I am not sure if she needed that.  But, it worked afterwards.

Forms has the routing number plus the name routning number in at and I cannot delete it

If you are just trying to update your direct deposit information in TurboTax:

1. Go to File.
2. Select Start or Revisit next to Step 2 Your refund info.
3. Select Other refund options on the Get your refund up to 5 days early screen.
4. Choose Direct deposit and Continue.
5. Enter your bank account info and Continue.
6. Your federal refund is now set up for direct deposit.
