Taxable brokerage sells

Hi everyone!  I sold stocks in my taxable brokerage account in 2021. Is 1099 the only document that I need to receive from the taxable brokerage account. I just want to make sure there isn't any other document that I need to report to TurboTax when filing my taxes.

I really appreciate any help you can provide!  (not seeking tax/professional advice; just making sure I have all my documents to file taxes for 2021)

When you sell stocks, you will receive form(s) 1099-B from your broker.

You'll report form(s) 1099-B on your tax return.

You can enter your form 1099-B by following these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income on top of the screen
  3. Scroll down to locate the section Investment Income and click on Show more
  4. Click Start next to Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other

if any stocks or other investments in your account pay dividends interest royalties ,  etc, you should get a separate 1099 or consolidated 1099 reporting this income.
