There is no error message being received, only the forms are not coming in as an option to be imported.
When I type in my credentials and go through the process to import my forms from Charles Schwab and Computershare, only the 1099-DIV forms are coming in. It is not even giving me the option or visibility to import 1099-B forms.
I've never had this issue before, and it seems odd that its happening with both Charles Schwab and Computershare.
My original post was from a year ago. No one resolved it. I don’t recall the message. Had to enter 22 pages of 1099-B by hand.
I haven’t even tried importing this year. If TurboTax still can’t import this year, I will find another software. Not going through that again!
FYI - I just tried again today and now my Computershare 1099-B is importable with the Turbotax software, but Charles Schwab still does not give the option (only 1099-DIV and 1099-INT show as importable).
When importing the transactions from Charles Schwab, use the Microsoft Edge browser if possible.
Please let us know if you are still unsuccessful and the system you are using to import.
Now when I try to import 1099 from Schwab, TT asks me to sign into my Intuit account. When I do, it gives me a blank pop up window. TT is total garbage!

If you're somewhat technical and are comfortable running some command line tools, this script worked great for me to import my Schwab 1099-B: https://github.com/skeshava/schwab1099b
2022 TurtoTax still does not import 1099-B from Schwab if the account is a Company Sponsored Account which sits in an account called Equity Awards. The 1099-B from a regular brokerage account is not an issue, which is embedded in the 1099 Composite & Year End Summary together with the 1099-DIV and 1099-INT.
I suspect the format may have something to do with it. Each 1099-B has its own format. They look totally different. Just a guess!
After I made the comment about TurboTax not importing 1099-B from Schwab if the account is a Company Sponsored Account ("Equity Awards" Account...). I went back to research more. It turns out it is not Turbotax's fault that 1099-B of the "Equity Awards" account is not downloaded or imported by TurboTax. It is Schwab that does not allow such 1099-B be downloaded.
Here is the exact wordings from Schwab..."...If you use TurboTax or other tax software, transactions in your Schwab Equity Award Center account cannot be automatically downloaded into the tax software and must be entered manually....."!
