Tax vouchers for what exactly?

The answer depends on the situation so here are the possibilities.

• Federal tax due- if you chose to mail the payment, the voucher will be a part of your return. Simply print and mail. Advise tracking to ensure your safety. Better option- pay online.
• State tax due - same as federal, it prints with your return. Most states have an option to pay at the state website.
• Federal estimated payments for 2023 -within the program, 
  • go to other tax situations, 
  • scroll down to Other Tax Forms, 
  • select W-4 and estimated taxes. 
  • Go through the program. 
  • The program will ask if you want vouchers printed with your return. Select YES. 
  • When your return is finished, they will be part of the paperwork. You can print and mail, with tracking is advised. Better option, pay online.
• State estimated payments- many states have the option to prepare estimates but not all. You can print estimates from your state website or even better, pay online.

I cannot pay my taxes all at once. I need about 4 vouchers to pay 1/4 tax liability at a time spread over a year if possible. Can I obtain that kind of vouchers?

If you are referring to paying the balance due for your tax return, then you can request an installment agreement with the IRS to set up a payment plan.
