I been waiting for a while now 600.00 is coming back what’s going on!!!!!

The IRS is running behind. It's sending out third stimulus checks while also processing refunds.

If it has been 21 days since your federal tax return was ACCEPTED, you can call the IRS and ask them to research your refund. Call 1-800-829-1040. Be aware. The phone lines are backed up. The IRS opens at 7 a.m. local time in every time zone. The earlier you call, the better your chance of speaking with someone.

Your refund could also be delayed if you entered the wrong stimulus amount of if the IRS needs to verify whether you should be receiving a stimulus with your refund.

The IRS will correct stimulus errors and continue processing returns, but that will cause a delay.
