Tax Reporting of Wire Transfers

In September and October 2020 1 received 2 wire transfers from my sister-in-law in Guadalajara, Mexico. How do I report them...? How do I pay the taxes...?

Tax Reporting of Wire Transfers

Depends what they were for.  You don't report gifts given or received on your tax return.

Nothing was requested.  Nothing was done by us to earn any money. The two were just sent to our Checking account...! Does that make them a gift...?
