Good morning,

I only wanted to add $19.99 for e-filing for federal but it's asking me to pay $44.99 (turbo tax premium service).

I've already purchased a Premier CD from costco so there shouldn't be any additional cost.

Please help.

In California, if you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, that service is bundled with Premium Services. You can remove the Premium Services and then choose to pay the TurboTax fees upfront using a credit or debit card.

You should be able to remove the Premium Services.

Click on File.

On the File a Return screen there are the steps for filing the return listed.  One of the steps is Payment.  Continue the File section until you land on the Payment screen.  The Premium Services with the amount of $44.99 should be shown.  Under the amount should be a blue link labeled Remove Clicking on that link should remove the Premium Services.

@Irene2805 The link you provided is for the online editions.  The user needs to remove the Premiums Services from the desktop edition.
