tax bracket
Hello,
I am trying to understand how I can lower my taxable income so I get into a lower tax bracket. I worked at one company from Jan 1, 2022, to March 4, 2022, and then another company from March 14, 2022, to the present. I know how much I contributed to my 401K at the other company and I know how much I am contributing to my 401K at my new company. Can someone help me understand how to calculate the way to get into a lower tax bracket?

Make very sure your new employer knows how much you contributed to the first 401K so you don't accidentally go over the annual max limit. Doing so is a PITA to get it fixed.
