Stimulus Credits in Tax Return

Hello,

My son completed his turbo tax filing and he showed that he will be receiving the first 2 stimulus credits but not the third in his tax return, even though he qualifies for the third as his AGI is well below 75k. Should he not receive the 3rd if he didn't receive it from the IRS already. He didn't receive any of them when they were initially sent out because he inadvertently stated that someone else could claim him as a dependent, even though no one could.

Yes, he should receive the third stimulus.  If you made a mistake in reporting the amount of stimulus received, the IRS will identify the error and adjust your refund.
