I need to update my bank info!
If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.
The PORTAL the IRS speaks of is not expected until LATE APRIL or EARLY MAY ... FOLKS need to be Patient while they the IRS try to do the impossible during a Pandemic with antiquated equipment.
The IRS will reportedly begin issuing $1,200 stimulus payments on April 9, but some Americans could wait up to 5 months to receive their check

Awesome, Thank you for the Info @DoninGA ! Very much appreciated.
You can visit https://www.irs.gov/ for updates on Coronavirus tax legislation.
So is there a way to accomplish this?
What is your question? This is a long thread and I am not clear just what you are asking here.
What is it that you are trying to accomplish?
Have you filed?
It is not free money. It is a tax credit on your 2020 taxes. I think delivering it in a timely manner goes without saying since the purpose of the early tax credit is to offset being forced out of work by the government.
I have not filed a 2018 return.
I am going to file 2019 electronically and I will not get a refund, I will owe taxes.
I moved twice since I last filed taxes in 2017.
How can I get my DD information to the IRS to get this stimulus check? ASAP!
Enter your bank account information in the refund section when completing your taxes. See the link below for additional assistance:

I have a slightly different situation. I've just finished my 2019 taxes with TT but have not yet filed. I OWE a few hundred dollars and I owed for 2018 as well.
If I efile my taxes now through TT, and I provide my banking details to have it direct debited, will it be passed through from TT to the IRS and will they use that information to direct deposit my stimulus check, or will I have to go the (eventual) portal route?
Thanks in advance!
Right now it seems the IRS can not use Direct Debit information to Direct Deposit.
