State tax return for 2023

According to your site, my 2023 WI state filing was rejected. The WI Department of Revenue says they never received the filing.

Can you explain why the filing was not received by the state?
Why is the filing status Rejected?
What happened to the funds transfer?

When your 2023 state return was rejected, you would have received an email that told you the return was rejected, with a rejection message or rejection code. We cannot see the email you received two years ago. But if the state return was not ever filed, the only way to file it now is by mail. E-filing is closed for past year returns. You need to print that WI return, sign and date it in ink, and mail it to the state.
