State Tax Audit Adjustments

My 2023 NY State Itemized deductions were disallowed and my refund was adjusted. Do I need to do anything within Turbo Tax for this?  Not sure if TT would need the adjusted amounts for anything.

Can I just go ahead and file my 2024 state taxes?

Yes. The 1099-G for your adjusted refund would handle the situation -which affects the federal return. You can file federal and state with no concerns regarding last year's adjustment. Be sure to view your forms for accuracy before filing.

To print or view  your forms:

• In desktop, switch to Forms Mode. 
• For online:
  1. On the left side, select  Tax Tools
  2. Select Print center
  3. Select Print, save or preview this year's return
  4. If you have not paid, select pay now.
