This issue most commonly occurs when your Forms W-2 don't reflect Wisconsin as the state.

To review your Form W-2 wages and salaries in TurboTax Online:

  1. If you don’t see 2022 TAXES in the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses on the Hi, let’s keep working on your taxes! page and then select Let’s get startedPick up where you left off, or Review/Edit.
    • Otherwise, in the left pane, select Wages & Income
  2. Scroll down and select the Edit/Add dropdown to the right of Job (W-2)
  3. Select  Edit  or Review to the right of your relevant out of state W-2
  4. Make sure that all of your information is input correctly.

However, it's also possible that you're not entitled to the credit.  There's a rather complex calculation that needs to take place.

To compute the credit, complete Schedule 2 on page 4 of Wisconsin Form 1.  It includes information from federal Schedules  C, C-EZ, and F (Form 1040), Schedule K-1 (Form 1065),  and any other taxable self-employment or earned income, and adjustments from Form 1040 (Schedule 1), Additional Income and Adjustments to Income

If the information above doesn't resolve your issue, please feel free to post back.
