====> where do i find the state and local taxes paid that turbotax is asking for? Is it schedule A Form 1040 box 5a year 2018?

Yes. Review your Schedule A from 2018. State and local taxes paid is reported on line 5a. This is the total amount paid for the year. The deduction is limited to $10,000.

My state tax filing is accepted with refund, but from the state web site is showing I owe. Maybe turbo tax made mistake on tax withheld. How come this can happen?
