When self-preparing your taxes and filing electronically, you must sign and validate your electronic tax return by entering your prior-year Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or your prior-year Self-Select PIN.

If you do not have a copy of your tax return, you can get your AGI from one of the IRS self-service tools:

    • Use your online account to immediately view your AGI on the Tax Records tab. To access online account, you must pass the Secure Access identity verification process.
    • Use Get Transcript by Mail or call 800-908-9946 if you cannot pass Secure Access and need to request a Tax Return Transcript. Please allow 5 to 10 days for delivery. Use only the “Adjusted Gross Income” line entry.

I have my prior year PIN and my spouse's prior year PIN, but I don't see a place to input those figures in the TT program.   As a result, the "Prior Year PIN" entries on page 4 of the Federal Worksheet are blank.  This may be causing my IND-032-04 rejection.   Does anyone know how I can input these Prior Year PIN figures into TT so that TT will report them when my return is e-filed?  Since I used TT last year, you'd think that the TT program would automatically insert our last year's PINs into these fields, but as noted above these fields are blank on my Federal Worksheet.
