I'm using turbotax desktop, and my w-2 has correct "Social security tax withheld: $8853.60", but it is not shown anywhere on my turbotax report (Form 1040).
In turbotax summary, "Tentative tax" "Other taxes" "Total tax" "Total Payments" do not seem to include it either.
Is that normal? My final tax refund looks correct, but not seeing "Social security tax" anywhere is very confusing.

You won't see the social security tax anywhere on your return. If you are not self-employed, social security is not part of your federal income tax return, even though it is a tax that is from the federal government. If you are self-employed, SS is part of your Self-Employment taxes.
If you're an employee and you did not have enough SS withheld then you would need to file Form 8919. This can be found in the less common income section of TurboTax.
Thank you!
It would be more clear if turbotax stated the number somewhere, like Medicare tax excess in my case.
