So when I start to file if I am a qualified widow in 2019 what form do I change to? Filing Single? or jointly?

Is a qualifying widow the filing single for m or it is a joint form. This would be the year after my husbands death. He died in 2018?

If you have not remarried and do not have any qualifying children as dependents then your filing status is Single on your 2019 tax return.
