So using turbo tax again this year and it didn’t ask me about my healthcare coverage for the year, why? Also why would turbo tax add $11. on the EIC line? I file single and kids are all grown

Since the individual mandate penalty was removed from the tax code after tax year 2018, there is no question on the tax return for having health care coverage.

You do not need a dependent child to be eligible for EIC.  You only need earned income and be older then 24 and under the age of 65.
