If you printed, signed, dated and mailed the 2021 federal tax return to the IRS and you have a tax refund it will be a minimum of 4 weeks before the status of the tax refund is shown on the IRS tax refund website, probably much longer then 4 weeks - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Do you mean your e-file was rejected so you filed by mail instead?   Mailed returns take a lot longer to be processed.   Next time you mail anything to the IRS it is best to use a mailing service that tracks it so you will know it was received--like certified mail... It could take four weeks or more before they open your envelope and enter it into the system.    Watch the IRS refund site for information---it will be your only source of information for your federal refund.
