Should the IRS send me something showing the extra amount I have been paying in this last year directly to the IRS?

One of my retirement incomes, I receive a 1099R. They take nothing out for taxes which led to me having to pay in last year. I set up automatic withdrawal on my IRS account to take out funds each month, but I have not received any forms from the IRS showing what I paid in for my tax return. (Maybe it’s something I have to download from my IRS account)??

No, the IRS is not going to send you anything.  You can check your online account with the IRS.  And you should have your own bank or credit card records to show proof of payment and for a record of your own.

If you have made  estimated payments during 2024:

Go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Other Income Taxes
