Yes---if you are eligible for EIC based on your income ----your 18 year old is still a qualified child dependent for whom you can get EIC.  You do not get the child tax credit----when a child is older than 16 you get the $500 credit for other dependents instead of the CTC.

I think you are referring to the earned income credit. Your child may qualify you for it if your child is under 19 years old on the last day of the tax year. You can read this article from the IRS to learn more.
