Should I mail in a GA State voucher (525-TV) with my payment? I just E-Filed with amount due from state debited from my checking? Can you please let me know what to do?

Why can't I pay GA state tax through Turbo Tax anymore?

Since you e-filed your Georgia state tax return and elected to pay the Georgia state taxes owed by direct debit from your bank account, there is no need to mail the payment voucher Form 525-TV or a check to the state.

Turbo Tax prompts said not to skip the step of printing the voucher.  I've never had to do that, have always E-Filed.  Is it true that Efile pmt is not accepted anymore in GA?

No that is not true.  You can pay the Georgia state taxes owed using tax preparation software such as TurboTax by direct debit from a bank account.

That is why the option to pay the state taxes owed by direct debit exists in the TurboTax program for the state of Georgia.  If the state of Georgia did not allow tax preparation software to use direct debit for taxes owed, that option would not be in the software.

There are many states that do not allow direct debit of state taxes owed through tax preparation software.  Those states require the taxpayer to go to the state Department of Revenue website to pay by direct debit.
