Self Employed, Health Insurance

My wife is self employed but I am not. We have health insurance coverage through my employer, but pay ~$1,600/year in premiums for her coverage. Can we write off the premium we pay for her coverage under the "Self Employed Health Insurance" section?

If she receives her insurance through your employer's health care plan and it is paid for with pretax dollars, then no, she cannot take the Self-Employed health care deduction.
