Yes, if your return was rejected it can be due to an incorrect date of birth.  TurboTax sends the return to the IRS, and if the database does not match the information provided, the IRS will send it back rejected.  Here is how to correct it:

• With TurboTax open search for personal information and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to update your wife's date of birth.
• The date should be in the United States month/day/year format (MM/DD/YYYY).
