I filed for an extension on my 2021 taxes, filed them on Oct. 12, then got an IRS rejection notification from Turbotax. I fixed the issue and re-filed. Two weeks later, I got an email from TT stating that my returns were in progress and to stay tuned to my inbox for an update. Life got crazy then -- a month overseas for work, family events, including a daughter's engagement and two deaths in the family -- and I'm coming up for air. Lo and behold, the IRS had rejected the returns AGAIN, but this time, not email from TurboTax to notify me. I was checking my email! Now I have to mail the returns instead of e-filing, and there willl be penalties and interest. Is TurboTax going to make good?
