If your Tax Return was rejected because of your AGI, you need to find the correct number and resubmit your return.
Your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) can be found on your 2017 Tax Return:

If you do not have a copy of your 2017 Tax Return, you can order a free transcript online from the IRS by clicking here: Get My Transcript. Your IRS transcript will include your AGI from last year.
If you did not file last year, you should use -0- zero for your AGI.

Once you find your correct 2017 AGI amount walk through the "File" Steps again to input your correct 2017 AGI and retransmit your return.
I looked on last years tax file and submitted the AGI for 2018 and it was still rejected.
Mine is a simple return. I am confused, is it possible to speak to someone live? I must get this done. I am following the way my husband has always filed and all my figures were correct. I filed jointly because even though my husband passed Aug. 5, 2019 he had income in the beginning of the year before being hospitalized.
