My name is Eric Bartley and have been a customer for years. I purchased the 2020 software today but having trouble registering. I believe my user id should be ericbartley but I entered ericabartley in error and now I'm concerned I won't be able to carryforward prior years data. Plus having password issues too. I need help.

If you buy the Desktop CD/Download program you don't have to register it. I never do. You can transfer from 2019 if you have the .tax2019 file on your computer. Did you use the Desktop program last year too on the same computer? Or where is your 2019 return?

Yes, i am having problems with my password also. It says I have the incorrect password. Then it prompts me "No Problem - Who was your favorite teacher?" I answer my question and get access but still need to reset my password or something. I can't fine a way. I reinstalled the program but it kept the previous password I don't know? How can I reset my 2020 Turbotax Desktop password?
