I highly recommend that everyone create an online account on the IRS website to verify the status of returns, payments, refunds, stimulus information and so much more. If you can verify your identity, you will have access online the same day. If they cannot verify you at that time, they can mail you a code to enter when you log back in. This is so much easier than trying to call the IRS.

If you need the refund amounts, you should be able to also check you bank records for the income or outgoing amounts. You generally need the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) number from the previous year to e-file and TurboTax can help you with that.
The IRS says " When you prepare your 2021 tax return and file it electronically in 2022, you must sign and validate your electronic tax return by entering your prior-year Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or your prior-year Self-Select PIN. If using your AGI for this purpose, you'll use the AGI as originally reported on Line 11 of your 2020 Form 1040 or 1040-SR. Next year when you file your 2021 return, do not use the corrected AGI even if it was adjusted because of the unemployment exclusion."
If your 2020 return is still not processed at the IRS, please try entering an AGI of 0, for the e-file question. Please see this TurboTax Help article with instructions for your situation
