I am entering 1099-DIV information manually for both TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab. I am getting this message -

It is possible they have the same federal ID number or the federal ID number entered is associated with both companies. That can happen when one company acquires the other. TurboTax is just warning you that there may be income duplicated on the forms or that you may have entered the same income twice. If not, you can disregard the warning.
@ThomasM125 Thanks for your response. I am not entering the Federal ID and the two statements also reflect different Federal IDs for each entity. I also received a confirmation from Charles Schwab that the TD statement covers the activity until the account takeover and Charles statement covers the activity post-account take over. I will disregard the warning.
This is crazy. I have multiples from the same bank, ALL with different amounts, and TT is forcing me to review and approve them not once, but every single time I enter another 1099-INT or DIV from another institution! Every time. This is stupid and slows down the process so much. They are different amounts, and I've already "approved" that they do not need to be deleted 3x, but now I have to keep doing it. Stop slowing down the process with these things!!
If you have multiple 1099's from the same bank with the same Payer ID, you can enter the combined totals in TurboTax. Many prefer to enter individually for tracking purposes, but the total for each bank is combined in TurboTax.
Here's more discussion on entering combined totals for 1099-Div's.
I am getting the same thing It keeps comparing merck and procter and gamble with different numbers and keeps trying to get me to delete one or the other as the same thing.
My gosh. I have dividends from about 20 different companies. Trurbotax online keeps thinking completely different companies with different dollar amounts are the same. It now wants me to delete about 10 of these forms and every time I enter a new company it compares more and decides they are probably the same. I respond they are different and then the next entry I enter will ask me to confirm all 10 forms plus the one I just did. This is a serious problem and makes no sense.
