Using TurbotTax Premier Desktop: I see a value of 18,522 on lines 25b and 25d of my Form 1040 (federal) for withholding reported on 1099 forms. Unfortunately, my Excel spreadsheet and my calculations by hand produced a different number.
I have reviewed my entries repeatedly in TurboTax for those forms, and I find four with no withholding and six with withholding values. My TurboTax entries and my Excel entries appear to be identical. Assuming human error on my part (experience), I repeatedly reviewed the accuracy of my entries into those forms and my spreadsheet and could not find an inaccurate entry. It seems to me that the most likely remaining human error is to have overlooked some other source of error.
The withholding values: 2,351 1,171 5,808 721 169 8,302. I get 18,252 and TurboTax 18,522.
Any suggestions on where to look next?

When I add up the six values that you listed, I get the same total that TurboTax gets, 18,522. Check your spreadsheet entries more carefully, or ask someone else to check them. Maybe there's an error that you're overlooking, or your eyes are playing tricks on you. Also check the formula in the total cell in your spreadsheet. Make sure it's really adding up the entries that you think it's adding up.
