The box appears for my license code and the cursor is flashing but when I try to type in the code nothing happens.
Try closing and re-opening TurboTax.

My daughter bought Turbo Tax Deluxe and i have been trying to put in the license code and it won't accept it. It keeps saying "registered to another account"? She already used it on her computer. ?
The license code can only be used by the purchaser of the software to be used on up to 5 computers they own.
Did you log into her account to install it? You have to log into her account and download it there.

No it doesn't say up to 5 users. It says you can install it on 5 computers you own. You are not suppose to share it. You can do unlimited returns and efile 5 for free, the rest you have to print and mail.
Thank you for your reply. We have been doing this for 30 years or so. My daughter buys the Turbo tax and I use it. It always worked fine. Is this something new where they stopped doing that? Thank you Volvo Girl
It's always been 5 computers you own. They are enforcing the License Agreement now by having you log into an Online account. Have her download and install it with her info.
No, Im home using my own computer like I always did and never had an issue. I will contact her for her sign in info and see if I can do it that way. Your link didn't work btw. Thanks for your help!

So on the sign in screen you have to sign into her account.
