Will I penalized for missing the April 15 deadline to submit Federal Tax Return. But mail it in on April 16?

I am unable to file my federal tax return tonight. I found out after finishing my Tax Returns on the Turbo Tax Site.

Yes, so file an extension. The postmark is the official mailing date - 04/16 is considered late. You can file your extension at our Easy Extension website.
