To clarify, what TurboTax product are you working in, and what are you depreciating?
I keep getting this message Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February, but likely sooner when trying to enter assets in my Self-employment income and expenses I just wanted to know when will it be available
I am having the same issue. Is there an ETA when it will be available. February is very Vague.
The exact date when a form or section will be updated is not available. Be reassured that TurboTax is updated with new releases every night. Your best option is to move on to other topics or give TurboTax a few days to update the schedule you're waiting for. Here's the link to sign up to be notified by email when the update is released.
but dang.....this is the only thing left for me to wrap up my taxes and I so looked forward to logging in on 2/1 to complete my taxes.....but alas....the note "Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February, but likely sooner" was inaccurate. 😥
any updates? It's February... still same message
Form 4562 is only ready for Schedule C and F. The Schedule E area is currently being updated.
The software should be updated after 02/11/26, but our tech team is working hard to have those updates before that date.
It says "Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February." Hopefully turbo tax is better with numbers than it is with English.
Dissappointed in Inuit. They should have a team of people getting this update out quicker! We're all just sitting around waiting for them to push this update out.
Sorry but this a dumb and disrespecfull way to answer a specific question. If you don't know, go ask the answer. But give a vague patronizing comment is not helping.
This is very desapointing! I have a personal deadlines to respect, and every year i bump into difficulty like this one. TurboTax always have a not working parts and a very poor support.
I am desapointed every year and yet, the year after I forget and buy again the poor product.
Cash App is free and equivalent, other competitor are way cheaper,
the support is terrible: agent wasting time posting vague comment like we are stupid...
I need to REMERBER NEXT YEAR to stop purchasing tha expensive poor value product!!!!!!!
