Yes, that is odd; both businesses should transfer from 2023 to 2024. If you have TurboTax 2023 installed, try opening your 2023 tax file and verify that the info for both businesses is there.
If so, try saving that file (change the name a bit) and transferring that file into 2024. Use 'start a new return'.
You can also try a Manual Update to your 2024 program and retry the transfer. Make sure you're running in Administrator mode and working on your C drive. If you're transferring from a cloud-type drive, the file can become corrupted.
It's also recommended to turn off your anti-virus software when using TurboTax. Here's How to Turn Off Anti-Virus Programs.
Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program?
Maybe last year you marked the Schedule C as FINAL in Turbo Tax?
Here's an idea. Do you still have 2023 installed? Try opening 2023 program and see if you can get your 2023 return to show up in it. Go to FILE - OPEN. And see if your schedule C is in it and if it's marked as finally disposed. Or any Assets were disposed or sold.
