I also had an Ev on mine. I'm really hoping that is it but I didn't file until after the lift with taking off so I still don't know why it's still pending. We will see come Monday or Tuesday I'm not waiting much longer after that before I start throwing a fit.

I filed on 1/23/25 as well thinking I would get mine faster. Still says pending. My son did he’s on the 30th and got accepted in 20 minutes. Haven’t been able to talk to a Turbo tax representative. Getting frustrated!

I found this link it tells you when the forms are available through TurboTax and if they are available free e-file. 8936 is already available but it doesn't say what date it was released. But there are some forms that aren't even available until February 20th.

It's schedule A for the clean vehicle credit! It is not available on TT until February 20 according to that list. But the thing is, I wasn't even able to take the credit, and if they made 8936 available why did they not make schedule A available? This is completely a TurboTax issue. I am switching to H&R Block this morning.

Well I take that back. That says schedule A- a different one - is not available. The 8936 schedule A for the clean vehicle credit is available.

So I'm wondering if that's what the glitch is in their system? It sees schedule A and has a hold on it?

What is schedule A versus 8936? If it's going to be February 20th before they're done I'm going to submit with h&r block too s*** by then our return will be almost back. This lady received the email that told her that the EV credit was not going to be available to the 28th. But there is two different things and this seems to only be a TurboTax problem then I'm going to switch. I also read a bunch of comments online people are not getting the advanced but they're also not getting any letters denying them or approving them, TurboTax is just not saying anything. And it's a lot of people that's the only reason I file through TurboTax but if my return can't even be approved until the 20th and you're not going to give anybody the advance it's rather pointless. I'm giving them till Tuesday after that I'm going to call and see what up but I will switch to h&r block super quick.

So I went back and reload too and there's two different schedule A's listed. One is available the other one isn't until the 20th. How do you know which one you have?

8936 is the EV credit, and it has a schedule A. The thing is, I know how programming works, and if someone programmed this and said to put a hold on returns with schedule A and didn't specify "not including 8936 schedule a" this will get held up because of a programming glitch. I'm not waiting. At 9 AM if it is not received by the IRS I am switching and just praying it does not mess up my whole refund later.

if you have the EV credit you will have that schedule A for it. The other schedule A is itemized deductions. That's ridiculous to me that that's not available now!

Here's the link for the forms available in H&R Block. Unfortunately it's not going to help me to move until February 7 because I have one business form that they don't have available until February 7. It's ridiculous these companies do not make everything available upfront! if my return is not accepted by Friday I will switch to H&R Block when it is available.
