@Thistimeofyear trust me, take a half hour today and go file returns through TaxACT. I re-filed through them on 1/30 while my returns were still pending for 2 weeks by TurboTax. My federal and state refunds both accepted within 10 minutes of submitting on TaxACT. Now my federal return has been fully processed and approved now I’m set to receive my refund on 2/6. My pending returns on TurboTax were automatically rejected yesterday because of their software glitch. After you re-file with TaxACT, give TurboTax a call and demand that they refund your filing fees due to “TurboTax software glitch” so that you don’t have to pay 2 sets of filing fees once you submit through TaxACT.
I came upon this post from Google, and I'm having the same issue I filed with H&R Block, so the issue is not limited to TurboTax. I'm wondering if the new administration is responsible for this issue
Your the first person with problems with H&R others has been accepted expeditiously
I will try it
I’m in the same boat going on the 4th day I know mine was reject because of my son social mine still says pending and when I go on emergency? I can’t even find my refund on there I’m frustrated
You were right I just filed and just been accepted that quick by the IRS Screw TurboTax
@Thistimeofyear glad it worked out for you too. I’ll never use TurboTax again, they’re a bunch of scam artists
Your right about that I think ima stick with tax act. Thank you !
Here’s the icing on the cake checking my tax transcripts today the irs received a request to see if the return was filed it was not according to the irs
I DID NOT MAKE THIS REQUEST. So for everyone heads up they more than likely weren’t submitted I’m going to get on the phone with them shortly
Oh no, something similar happened, but this time with my state return. It rejected it within an hour but now it's been 72 hours and both state and federal are pending...Update us on anything you might know.
I seen that too on my transcript last night and I didn't make the request as well
The IRS generally does not reach out via email, only mail, so it could be a scam if you received an email.

Go by what is showing on Where's My Refund. It takes a few days before anything will show there. Also make sure you are entering the correct Federal refund amount and not the combined Federal and State refund. Also make sure you are entering your full federal refund amount, not the amount you would get if you had fees taken out.
Now they send it after I then already filed with tax act and been accepted they too late now tt has been rejected
You clearly didn’t read my response at all. This was a transcript I saw logging into the irs site using id.me this request could only be made by myself of the company the filed my taxes. Wasn’t me which means it was you guys. I cannot access my where is your returns at this point. You guys are trying to figure out why returns didn’t go out and you’re lying to your customers. I’ll get to the bottom of it and when I do I’ll be contacting an attorney because at this point I simply don’t believe you
