Why does Turbo Tax tell me I have a w-2c coming. to my knowledge, my husband nor I have deferred any social security taxes from last year?

If you got the message  "Heads up! You have a W-2C coming" .  This was fixed in the newest release on 2/19/2021.  If it hasn't been resolved yet please be patient and continue on with your return.

Only the customers who now legitimately will receive a W-2C will still get the pop up.

A W-2c form is used by the United States Internal Revenue Service for tax filing and reporting services. This form is known as a Corrected Wage and Tax Statement form.

Actually...the error did not get fixed for many cases..

The Fix is now scheduled to be done by 26 Feb....Check back then

I just received the same message today 3/9/21, and no such deferral ever occurred.

Unfortunately this problem has still not been fixed.  For this problem to still exist after being made aware of it weeks ago, is unacceptable.   I feel like Turbo Tax owes me money for all of the time I have wasted trying to figure out what the problem is, and how to fix it.  Now we find out that it is a programming error and we are powerless to fix it.  

Very disappointed in my experience with TurboTax this year.
