Why does the desktop software only allow me to upload .tax2018? .tax2019 not supported on TurbotaxPremier 2019.

I have TurbotaxPremier 2019 and it says I can upload .tax2018 but won't allow me to upload my .tax2019 document.

Please explain what all you are doing and what you want to do.  It's not yet clear at all.  Also what do you mean by "upload?"

Underneath your question above it's saying "Premier Online", yet your question mentions desktop software.  So I presume you have 2019 desktop Premier (CD/download) installed on your computer.   But it's unknown what you are ultimately wanting to do.  Are you trying to switch from desktop TurboTax to using Online TurboTax, or vice versa?     You cannot move a 2019 data file prepared in desktop TurboTax to 2019 Online TurboTax.

Or are you asking how to "OPEN" a *.tax2019 data file that you already have on your computer?  How do you have a *.tax2019 data file?   Did you prepare it in that desktop software, or did you start in 2019 Online TurboTax and downloaded the 2019 data file in order to finish it in desktop software?

The 2019 software can "transfer-in" a 2018 data file.   So maybe that's what you are seeing. That's a completely different process, however.  But the software can OPEN a 2019 data file.   Here's how it's done in the Windows version:

To OPEN a 2019 data file with the 2019 desktop software, one can launch TurboTax, then at the main screen click in the top left corner of the interface and in the dropdown menu choose OPEN TAX RETURN.   Then an Explorer window will appear, and you can point TurboTax to the location of the 2019 data file.

If none of that touched on what you might be doing, then you'll have to explain more about what you are doing and want to do.
