@Gizmo10tuoi I'm confused. Do you need to create a 1099NEC for your own income? Or create them for her to give her nail techs? To create 1099NEC you need to use either the online Self Employed version or the Desktop Home & Business program. This year the 1099Misc non employee comp in box 7 goes on a new 1099NEC form box 1. I have Windows Home & Business and it created 1099NEC.
You have to make the selection to start a new return after the program starts and then follow the instructions (carefully) on the screens.
yes i know this, I know where to create the 1099 but last year 2019 there was box 7 NONEMPLYEE COMP. but this year tax 2020 there is no box 7 also there are no where to find 1099 misc neither 1099 NEC ???
the IRS again revised the tax forms for 2020 (will this ever stop) box 7 no longer exists for 1099-MISC. you'll receive a 1099-NEC - the amount of comp will be on line 1
@Gizmo10tuoi Are you on Windows or Mac? If you are on Windows Home & Business you can create them 2 ways, either online using QEF Quick Employer Forms or on your computer. I made some screen shots of Windows
