Installed and have been using TTax 2022 for the past month.... receiving updates as we go...

This weekend - Feb 18, 2023 - tried to perform the internal update and it failed... Windows 1603 -

Tried a few things, none worked - so just don't click on the "check for updates" anymore.

SO... WHAT HAPPENED ??

Noticed the "help" comments mentioning .NET issues....

So, it appeared that Windows Update installed a .NET update last week - Feb 14 -

and today is Feb 18, 2023 - wondering if the Windows update broke something inside TTax ?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/february-14-2023-kb5022502-cumulative-update-for-net-framework-3-5-and-4-8-for-windows-10-version-20h2-windows-10-version-21h2-and-windows-10-version-22h2-4eed8a1d-297f-4c51-9263-bd7614cca9c7

Lastly - I am replying to this existing 1603 topic -

since I could not see how to create a NEW topic on the forum ????

Browsing old 1603 errors and suggested solutions....

One was - to UN-install TTax and then RE-install TTax....

I might try that.... how much worse can it get -
After the install, you know the first thing is to run for Updates -

WOW - just tried another Update - today is Thursday Feb 23, 2023 - AND IT WORKED  -

- YAY - tried an update it WORKED .....  it was dated 2/22/23 -
and it must have been large as it took a long time with slow moving graph progress -
and of course, nothing changed on our end - no recent Windows Updates or any other changes.

The TTax update was large, as it looks like it totally replaced the entire software package with Windows 2/22/23 timestamps on the EXE and most of the DLL modules.
