Why are you not allowing us to import information from the previous year's return like you have in the past?

Every year when I do my friend's return on her Mac I  have to go looking for the prior year file.  I go to Finder.  This year Finder showed it right away at the top.  Previous years I think I had to go browsing and drilling around to find it.  Then I think I just clicked on the 2023 file in Finder and it transferred to 2024.  Don't remember what  kind of files (pdf or .tax2023)  Turbo Tax showed me to transfer at the beginning.
