Which one is my resident country if I moved mid-year?

I'm a US citizen (dual, but that likely won't matter) and lived and worked in the US until August, 2021. Then in September, I moved abroad and I live and work now in a foreign country. I've spent more than 330 days now in this foreign country and plan to remain here.

Q: when TT asks my resident country, which one should I enter for 2021? USA, as I lived more there in 2021, or the foreign country, as I've been living in that country for a year now?

@Mike414 , your residence  is usually wherever you are domiciled on the last day of the year.   So if you lived in US and then in August 10th, 2021 you landed in Canada  and lived there  ( and intended  to live there for the foreseeable future ), then you would say that your tax home / address etc. is Canada.  This is not used for anything else other than where IRS can contact you .  Then in 2022  August 10th 2022, when you have met the physical presence test  ( 11th August 2021 till 10th August 2022 --- TurboTax I think will accept 11th August  because it does not count the last day  just like the on-line "days in between" calculators ), then you file your 2021 return covering both the domestic earnings from Jan1st 2021 till 10th August 2021  and claim foreign earnings for the rest of the year.
