Where is the form 8915-f for 2023 filing of 2022 taxes?

I am in the same boat. I paid in advance for the discount, now I am holding the bag until TT says they are ready. I feel like the discounted early pay special was premeditated on their part to lock people in ... especially when it was only a week long wait at the time. Now, I can print and mail it myself, go somewhere and re-enter everything to e-file now and pay twice, or just wait. I have a feeling the target date (3/2) will move again either today or tomorrow.  That might be my tipping point.

I totally agree with you. It was the same problem in filing for 2020 and 2021.

I guess I'm going to wait until TurboTax gets it's act together. I really don't understand.....with all the resources they have. I can see for the first year in filing for 2020 there would have been a delay. But why have there been delays in in filing for 2021 and 2022 because this form. was not ready. I really don't want to mail it in or use a different service at this point. Totally frustrating!! Also, I use the Turbo version and as you're inputting data they are constantly trying to get you to purchase a more expensive package. Very annoying while you're trying to concentrate and input the correct numbers and answer questions. Yikes!!

I went to H&R Block and they want me to spend an extra $60 to have a tax pro enter the data for me...did you have to do this?

No. I didn't go to another tax service. I'm going to wait until Turbo has the form approved. Everyone is out to get you!! Hang in there.

This form 8915-F has been available to download on IRS website since January 2023. Why didn't Tubortax update this form???

It may take longer for one form or another to show up in TurboTax for multiple reasons. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate information possible. As part of this process, we communicate often with the taxing agencies. 10 days ago, I filed 8915-f with the IRS using another product.  The IRS has already approved and issued my refund.  Not sure what's up with TT.....lost a long term customer because of their unwillingness to communicate about the continued pushbacks.

I'm done with turbo Tax and I would advise everyone else to move on. This form was supposed to be here on 2/16/23 now it is 3/3/23...  This is unacceptable.

2 good alternatives- FreeTaxUSA used it and my return will be deposited 3/1, including 8915-f less than $10. Also FreeFileFillableForms from IRS free

TurboTax has done upgraded form 8915-F lately since 2021. It was horrible to wait this form every year. It came out around April for last 2 years. Hopefully it will be released on 03/02/2023 as promised. I'm sick of it

Unfortunately it's changed again to 3/9/23. Why is it taking so long to integrate it into the software?
