The address on your tax return and the address on the Form 1099-R do not have to match.

Where do I enter my address on 1099R? It's different than my mailing address and has been imported from last year.

No. There's no way to edit the information on your tax return, but it really isn't important for tax filing purposes, as long as your Social Security number is correct on the form. Your SSN is used by the IRS for identification purposes. It won't negatively impact your tax return for filing purposes.

 

You may wish to contact the administrator of your retirement plan to have your address corrected, if you haven't done so already.
