The IRS has discontinued the e-filing PIN option. To verify your identity for e-filing, you’ll need to use last year’s adjusted gross income (AGI).
The e-filing PIN isn’t the same thing as the Self Select PIN or the IP PIN.

My rejected efile will not accept a six digit IP Pin, OK, I understand it is not supposed to.
My AGI is correct. If the e-file pin is no longer required then why is Turbotax requiring that I put one in, one that I do not have or has changed from last year (usually I use a 4 or 6 digit but this asks for 5).
I could put my AGI in the PIN slot too?
