When will we get the stimulus checks for turbo tax cards

No one has an exact date.  The IRS is the only ones who knows when stimulus check will be deposited.  They are starting to send out stimulus checks to anyone who filed a 2018 or 2019 return & has direct deposit information (a TurboTax card has banking information for direct deposit). The IRS says, by Wednesday, April 15, tens of millions of Americans should have received their checks.  You would need to check your bank or check the balance on a TurboTax card.

What if the IRS doesn't have my current bank info for direct deposit?

The IRS is creating a web portal where users can check the status of their stimulus payments. It will launch this week. The site will also have a feature to enter your bank account information if the IRS doesn’t already have it from a 2018 or 2019 refund. The IRS expects this to launch this tool by Friday, April 17.

Check this page to view the stimulus check tracker info and look for the "Get My Payment" button, when it launches.

What if I don't file taxes every year?

The IRS launched this webpage to allow non-tax filers to provide the federal government with payment information. Look for the "Non-filers: Enter payment info here" button.

I have read a few answers, Sadly. Most comments consist of these responses.

1. Not sure and we can't check the status yet. So don't expect it soon. 

2.Prepaid card like turbo cards, dont qualify as bank accounts and will receive paper checks and could take months to receive.

3. People direct you to multiple websites, news topics and tell you to look it up yourself. 

   My experience is Update IRS with a checking account to deposit funds.  I looked up my status and I was asked to verify 2019 tax questions on the IRS web page and then informed they needed a bank account to sent my deposit. Keep checking IRS website and check status of you can.

Tens of millions of deposits were made today and the turbo tax card site and phone number is inoperative!!!! My balance check at atm was still the same.. I tried and access the get my payments website after putting in basic information I was redirected to needs more information such as AGI. Amount of my refund and banking information. I did a amendment and put the wrong refund amount in and it locked me out of the irs web site until tomorrow, which leads me to believe that there will be no stimulus on turbo tax cards if so why would the irs redirect me to the page to enter my banking information???? These tax pros that we paid so much for have no answers for us except for the excuse that they haven’t sent it to our bank accounts yet.. I paid $170.00 for all services for them to have no answers about my stimulus

I have filed with turbo tax for the 2018 and 2019 tax year and did the turbo prepaid Visa card, it states that if you did this the IRS has your direct deposit information and you do not need to do anything else to receive your stimulus check!!! Not true!! I can’t get thru to 1-888 number for turbo card, I can’t log on with my mobile Ap but when I got on the IRS webpage, I went to the GET PAYMENT option, put in my info and it turns out they do not ya e any of my direct deposit information thru turbo tax and I had to re-enter all this information, so it will be awhile before I receive my check due to this!!

I'm in same boat used turbo tax for years and years same issue waiting on a deposit because turbo tax is screwed us up

The irs portal shows the stimulus check was deposited in my turbo tax card on the 15th and now its the 25th and its still hasnt showed in my account! Help
