It’s updated and available now though I am still getting a filing error.
What type of error?
8915-E works for me now but getting error in Michigan review:
It starts today.
The 8915-E Form is projected to be e-fileable starting 02/26/2021. Please click on the following link and sign up for an email notification when the form is finalized.
If you are under age 59 1/2, the distribution from the retirement plans and IRAs is considered as an early withdrawal. Generally, you will pay both regular tax plus an additional 10% penalty of your entire distribution unless you met certain criteria. Due to the CARES Act, if your retirement distribution is related the Covid-19, you will not be liable for this additional penalty. You will still pay the normal taxes like your wages and income. For more information from the IRS, click here: Covid Relief. If your distribution is not related to the Covid, you will need to pay the penalty
I am still getting the michigan error today as well.
I am also still getting this Michigan Review error related to disaster recovery claims. It is saying the amount is not correct but it is in fact correct and re-entering the same correct number does not fix it. I did do a software update prior to trying it again.
Getting the same error in New York.
So far, it really seems to be a New York, Michigan, Hawaii issue where the State check produces an incorrect worksheet and will not allow anything to be e-filed.
TurboTax also decides to charge you before hitting this zone, so you are charged but then not able to actually submit successfully. Very poor ethics. You can also not clear out and restart your taxes once you've paid.
I've spoken to 3-4 reps and it's mostly a "blame the IRS" or "clear your cache" response. Both of which obviously are useless responses.
I have the download version, so clearing my cache doesn’t make a difference. I have deleted and re-entered also with same result.
Still getting same error, any idea when TT might fix the issue?
Still waiting, nothing happening when I update. Says my updates are up to date.

If your software is up to date then you need enter or edit the Form 1099-R and answer the Covid-19 questions, then the Form 8915-E will be generated by the TurboTax program and included in your federal tax return when it is filed.
TYVM, you were correct, it worked after your suggestion.😀
What about the Michigan review error that comes up? I have submitted various entries for this but do not get any sort of reply?
MI, NY and HI state is being worked on estimated for March 11.
Thanks. This is the first date tied to this error I’ve seen thus far.
