If this form doesn't have anything to do with most of us....Why is it affecting us? I have been with you all for years and I truly thinking about finding someone else. Most of us need our money right now. Please get it together!!!!
Is there an update on this? How long do they expect us to have to wait??
I called Turbotax Help desk on Feb 6th, 2022 and they told me federal form 8582 has been updated by IRS. The agent believed Turbotax will inturn update their software by the end of the week, but of course couldn't be certain.
I'm in the same boat. My Federal went through and accepted and processing. But not Maryland State. I don't even know what I even have to do with a 8582 form? Already paid Turbo Tax for both with C.C.

It's still not available. I can't file my federal return either. I just keep getting a loop of fix the state return. You can't fix it, fix the state return
I spoke to a TT rep today. They told me that IRS has to first update form 8582, and that this will occur on or about March 17th! But I would check weekly and hope for the best.
Hey Turbo Tax... can we get some proactive information on this? Let us know exactly what is happening and when it will be resolved. I had my first help-chat week before last and they told me it would be ready on February 2. Then I had another chat Saturday and all he could say was that TurboTax knows it's an issue. If it is really going to be March before it is fixed I'll want my money back and I'll go elsewhere.
I need to file my finished federal and state taxes yesterday!!! I need my refund ASAP. I will never use Turbo Tax again. I feel like we're being held hostage by your incompetence! I've used TT since 2004. This is totally unacceptable. I want my money back. Where is the response to these irate customers. You're definitely losing $$$ TT.

I'm about to cut my losses and go to H&R Block after using TT for many years.
February 8th and this issue is STILL not fixed! I am canceling and going to another service to file. This is unacceptable Turbotax!
